Sick about it...
I am sick about my hard drive crashing! Did I backup my photos I have taken since we lived here? No. I did not.
I keep trying to make myself feel better about it using the fact that I upload my faves to FB and blogger, so I have them there. But still. I don't even want to think about what I lost. When will I learn???
What I have learned is not to let son #2 play on my laptop anymore. This time last year was the "step on the laptop, crack the LCD screen" incident. And this hard drive crash was from him being angry and slamming the laptop shut. He was/is remorseful, which is good, but I gently told him that I'm not ready to risk it being broken again. He understands.
Good thing is I have a backup of my other photos, pre-move.

rhonda. . .love your "kid-isms" i write TONS down that alani says, so i'm glad to see that the funny things kids say, don't end too quickly :) also, try pc laptop. i dropped my laptop THREE times and totally killed it a couple of years ago, took it there, they could not fix it, but they were able to move everything to an external hard drive for me and then they did it for FREE because I just donated my laptop to them (they part it out and give the $ to charity). . .there's one right here on the corner by the church, not sure if there are any out your way.

Timbra, thankfully it was still under warranty!! I bought an extended one after the broken LCD screen... and this one covers any accidental damage like dropping, etc. But thanks for the info.
