It occurred to me the other day that some of my favorite things lately are what I got for my birthday. And guess what, they are all white! The beautiful coat above is from my parents. I got it before we left for Utah. It's from Land's End and it's down filled. So lightweight and so comfortable. Thank you, Mother and Daddy!
What's a long coat without a pair of boots? I got these for myself. And they are the best things ever! They are waterproof, warm and cozy. And they are naturally narrow, like my big feet. I wear them almost everyday. Couldn't make it here without a pair of boots.
And this is what I am really excited about! I have been noticing the past year or so that women are wearing these white ceramic band watches. I think they are so smart looking. And I love the big face of this watch. There are lots of brands, but this Michael Kors is exceptionally well made. Thanks to redeeming my Chase reward points for an Amazon.com gift certificate, combined with my birthday money from Steve's parents, this little baby is now mine. Thank you Mom and Dad!!
So that's my white birthday. Seems like I pick a color each year and take off with it. Last year it was aqua/teal and browns. Maybe this year will be shades of white.
